After a sound beating a few weeks back from Lindum 3s, we welcomed Lindum 4s to Storthes Hall. Availability of players would make the 2s change up their usual 4-3-3 formation, but spirits were high and a desire to get some revenge on the Lincolnshire club was in our minds.

Lindum would open the scoring within 5 minutes of the first whistle, however, our prematch talk had centred on sticking to our plan and not becoming too frantic when behind. The Dragons would equalise from a botched penalty corner that Gary Freeman took control of, burying the ball into the bottom right corner. 1-1 at half time.

Lindum would again open the scoring early in the half, with a we crafted break away goal. It wouldn't take long for the 2s to equalise again, with Freeman again being involved, riding tackles into the D for Rich Waugh to square the ball in front of the keeper for George Maddaford to tap in at the back post.

The half would be an open affair, with both teams trying for the win, but the game would finish with points split and both squads looking forward to the rematch.
