The M2s opened the season vs Doncaster. A fast pace to the opening of the game, with spells of dominance for both sides. Jonny Beaumont opened the scoring for the Dragons, with assist from Freeman.

10 minutes later Freeman should have had our second, but a needles touch before the line gifted Beaumont his second. A hot second half saw energy levels drop from both sides, with a final score of 2-0.
