Last year we became partnered with both the Pennine Sports Partnership and the Shelley Sports Pyramid. These companies deliver sports coaching into schools around our area. Last year we hosted two events at Storthes Hall and took part in another at Laund Hill RUFC. We will again be taking part in these, but do need volunteer support at all three.

First off we will be hosting the Shelley Sports Pyramid
Tuesday 18th of March 4-5 pm.
Small taster exercises, minimum 8 volunteers.

Second, is the Pennine Sports Partnership schools tournament.
Thursday 27th March 4-5.30 pm
Tournament with group stage, semi-final and final. Need a minimum of 6 to umpire the games.

Third is ‘This Girl Can’, hosted by the Pennine Sports Partnership.
Thursday 10th July 9.30 am-2.30 pm
A massive event with 200-300 girls attending, working through different sports. Need to cover the whole session, 2 to 3 minimum volunteers.

These sessions are amazing ways to connect with schools, potential players and parents. We need volunteers to facilitate all the events above, not just coaching and running stations, but sweet-talking parents and handing out flyers to promote our wonderful club, or just being around to support and help out.
